2013 TBTA Professional Development Scholarship Program
Each year, TBTA offers multiple scholarships to its membership. This year we will award 5 different scholarships to be used toward any approved GBTA continuing education program (including Legislative Symposium, GTP, GLP, Education Day),Global Congress on Risk Management sponsored by HospitalityLawyer.com, GBTA membership, or GBTA convention attendance including air, 4 nights lodging & airport parking. The following 5 tiered scholarships will be awarded:
Scholarship Tier Levels:
- Platinum $3,000
- Diamond $2,500
- Gold $2,000
- Silver $1,500
- Bronze $1,000

All TBTA Members in “good standing” as specified in the Texas BTA Bylaws who have not won a TBTA scholarship in the last year are eligible to apply. The deadline for these scholarship awards is 5pm on February 22, 2013.
Application Review: The Scholarship Committee will carefully review the appliations and receipients will be announced at the March 13th, TBTA Meeting. Recipients agree to be considered as volunteers to serve on the 2014 Scholarship Committee.
Application Submission: Submit all attachments of application to ATrove@sonesta.com or by fax to 713-961-5575 by FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
Recipients Announced: The Scholarship Committee will carefully review applications and recipients will be announced at the March 14, 2011 TBTA Meeting. Recipients agree to be considered as a volunteer to serve on the following year’s Scholarship Committee.
