Continuing education is an essential element to career development. In addition to offering opportunities for networking, volunteerism, and leadership, TBTA is committed to providing its members avenues for growth and professional development in the exciting and ever-changing travel industry. TBTA facilitates monthly educational programs during monthly member meetings and sponsors annual scholarships for individual professional development. Scholarships specifically available through TBTA-sponsored fundraising activities are the Debbie Reynolds and the Fran Walters Professional Development Scholarships. The primary role of the Scholarship Committee is to facilitate Membership Development through promotion of the various scholarships and grant opportunities provided by the TBTA and NBTA. The Chair of this Committee must be a member of the NBTA.
