The primary role of this Committee is to review and recommend opportunities for Texas Business Travel Association to give back to the community through financial our otherwise participatory outreach activities.
- Using a Community Outreach suggestion form and Community Outreach Guidelines, solicit recommendations and support for membership involvement in community outreach activities.
- Select initiatives that best fit TBTA’s interests and funding levels.
- Committee will select initiatives that meet the approval of the majority of TBTA membership, verifying interest via member surveys and obtaining TBTA President approval.
- Oversee the activities of each approved outreach initiative.
- Prepare and submit a budget to the Treasurer.

Under the leadership of Candy Smith. TBTA has been a strong supporter of the Brenham State School in Brenham, Texas, through both financial and participatory contributions since 2002.
