2010 TBTA Debbie Reynolds Professional Development Scholarships
This scholarship is named in honor of Debbie Reynolds, a long time TBTA member and industry leader who was instrumental in the establishment of the TBTA Chapter. Debbie committed her career to sharing her knowledge of the travel industry with others. The majority of funds for this scholarship are raised through the TBTA Annual Golf Tournament and Silent Auction. Although retired now, Debbie continues to support TBTA through her participation and contributions to our Chapter. All TBTA Members in “good standing” as specified in the Texas BTA Bylaws who have not won a TBTA scholarship in the last year are eligible to apply.
Sc Five Scholarship Opportunities Available in 2010
Tier One – One member will be awarded NBTA membership (first time only members), 2010 Convention registration, and 3 nights room/tax at an approved NBTA Convention Hotel.
Tier Two – Two Direct and two Allied members will be selected to be reimbursed the price of Registration to attend the 2010 NBTA International Conference and Exposition in Houston August 8-11.
Application Deadline: Submit to ewmeyer@marathonoil.com or by fax to 713.499.3373 by 5 pm CST May 4th. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Recipients Announced: The Scholarship Committee will carefully review applications and recipients will be notified by May 12th.
