TBTA Fran Walters Professional Development Scholarship
This Professional Development Scholarship was named in honor of Fran Walters, a former TBTA officer, who made education a top priority for our members. Co-workers, family and TBTA friends named this scholarship in Fran’s memory. All TBTA members in good standing as specified in the Texas BTA Bylaws who were not 2009 scholarship recipients are eligible to apply.
S Scholarships include:
Tuition for accredited NBTA programs such as Corporate Travel Expert (CTE), Certified Corporate Travel Executive (CCTE), Global Leadership Program (GLP), or GLP Designation and associated travel expenses* totaling up to $2,000 each for two members. Awards expire if not used within two years.
Application Forms:
Application Deadline: Submit to ewmeyer@marathonoil.com or by fax to 713/499-3373 before 5 pm CST May 28, 2010. Applications received after this deadline will not be considered.
Recipients Announced: The Scholarship Committee will carefully review applications and recipients will be announced at the June 9th, 2010 TBTA Meeting.
*Travel Expenses are defined as air, ground transportation, hotel, and meal costs incurred while attending a professional development program accredited by NBTA. All receipts are required for reimbursement of these expenses.
